Altro XpressLay utilises a unique formulation for a quick fit without compromising on performance or durability. Our revolutionary technology, featuring a studded surface on the underside of the floor, allows it to lie flat and perform like a traditionally adhered floor without the need for an adhesive.
Allowing the subfloor to breathe, installations can be quicker and easier as no damp-proof membrane (DPM) is required. Using Altro adhesive-free floors, you can halve installation time compared with a traditional installation.
Adhesive-free, they can be installed over existing flooring or on fresh concrete. The floors can be removed easily, reused and are 100% recyclable at the end of its life.
The adhesive-free tape used to install the Altro XpressLay product has been specifically selected to provide the maximum system performance. The adhesive on the tape is perfectly suited to the demands put upon it; adhering well to the underside of XpressLay as well as most substrates, as long as they are clean and dust free.
Installation tape can also be used to secure the cove former to the wall/floor interface, as well as securing the capping strip to the wall, again providing the surfaces are clean and dust free.
